Minor Mod - Rear Air Vent Cover Question
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a rear air vent cover for my 18' C43 Coupe. However, these covers have an indent (where the long double sided tape is) and it feels like the mesh air vent needs to be removed ? in order for this piece to go in. (or else the indent sits on top of the vent and the cover isn't flush)
Has anyone did this mod to their car yet ? If so, do we need to remove the air vent piece and how do you accomplish that ?

everyone doing this mod should shop for the one that replaces the mesh grille. The mesh grilles can be easily popped out by starting at the top and lifting up for the last clip.
recommended part style to use:
picture of OEM mesh grille and tool used:
Personally - cut double sided tape to apply to the back of the new pieces where the OEM grilles sat
