Downshifting problem

Hey, i have a problem in downshifting in my 2019 facelifted C43 AMG , so when i’m in S+ mode at high speed and arrived to a corner, i pull the down paddle and i cannot down shift until i slow down and be at very low speed to be able to downshift, until then each time I pull the down paddle the dashes of manual mode go red. Anybody faced the same problem ? Thank you !

Maybe upon arriving at said corner your revs are too high and downshifting at that point puts you in the red no go zone. Speed has nothing to do with it its rpms that matter.
Manual shift in the corners meh....press and go is best

No , it is when braking, i cannot down shift until the rpm be down to 4000 or 3500 rpm and when I do so the rpm go up to 5000 rpm only when I need it to go higher when stopping before a corner.

Then you're trying to down shift too early. The tacho will flash red when you need to upshift, and also when you're trying to shift into too high or too low a gear.

Pretty much what everyone else said. It's to protect the engine from over revving too high. You'll notice the same red flash if you try to upshift and the rpms would be too low.

While on the subject I wonder how high the rpm/gear will hold until automatically upshifting when you downshift in sport +. I've not really hammered mine to find out yet

That depends. If you’ve put the car in manual, it will not upshift, but just hit the limiter. If you leave it in auto and then just downshift using the paddles, it will change up again by itself when you hit the limiter.
