2019 C43 Wagon (S205)
Request: Winter Wheels/Tires Setup Sanity Check

First post - lurked for a while pre- and post-purchase (April). Thanks in advance for your input/advice on a non-staggered winter setup. Will this work? Any optionality I should consider?

Vehicle: 2019 C43 Wagon (S205)

Wheels: Enkei EKM3
  • Part #: 442-880-4435HS
  • Size: 18 x 8
  • Offset: 35
  • Bore Diameter: 72.62

Tires: Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 ZP Runflat
  • Size: 225/45R18/XL 95V

Thanks!
-BF

So it looks like I need to find wheels with a bore diameter of 66.6mm. There are several wheels on the market that are 66.56mm. I assume those are not 'close enough' or can they be an option? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

That bore size will be fine.

If the bore is too big, just get center rings. It is the inside clearance you need to look out for.

Niche Missano MR117 18x8 ET30

these are probably some of the best bet as far as a winter set-up that is pretty care free. no spacers or funny business required and a good look front to rear.

FYI for those looking for cost effective winter wheels (18" square setup in my case). I ended up going with replica wheels from RWC. They have four 18" wheel options that will fit my 19C43:

http://rwcwheels.com/winter-wheels/m...019/18#content

I paired these with Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 P225/45R18 RFs. With TPMS sensors and nitrogen inflation (and free mounting, balancing, and shipping), my grand total after tax was $2,615.54 (Canadian). Much better than the dealership option that would have come in at approx. $4,700.

Thanks to all for support and recommendations.

I would also be interested with some non-Mercedes winter wheels setup for my (still not delivered) C43 Coupe MY2020. I like both Niche Missano and RWC, but I would like to know if there is anyone who bought those (or the others) and live in Switzerland. If there is anyone - please let me know where you bought them, as I guess not in US or Canada?

But where did you buy them? I would like to avoid buying at Mercedes, as they are too expensive. In US I would know where to buy (e.g. Niche), but the question what about Europe, especially Switzerland?

Follow up in case this helps others...

I'm happy with my [non-staggered] winter setup. Ordered from PMC Tire (based in Sherbrooke, Quebec - Canada).

RWC MB47 Silver wheel 18x8 5x112 66.6 BD 33 offset
Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 P225/45R18 XL 95V BSW RF
TPMS sensors
Nitrogen inflation
Mounted and balanced - ready for install

C$2,314.64 pre-tax with free shipping. WAY more cost effective than the OEM option through my local dealership. RWC wheels are replicas - no need for different lug bolts - simple swap.

Shipped to the US? I'm still looking for winters but haven't found a US dealer for these wheels.
Thanks!

@BF_S205 I've been thinking of getting these rims as well. can you tell me who the offset of these rims (et. 33) line up flush to the fender? Can you provide a rear view of your car and tires? Euro design also has the exact same rims but their offset is (et. 30) i want to be sure which brand has the better offset Euro Design or RWC...

This picture wasn't taken to respond directly to you, so apologies if the angle isn't the best. I haven't really paid attention, but I know it doesn't look ridiculous.

Thanks - and for my eyes anyway, some of the nicest aftermarket rims I could find. I bought 4 black center caps from MB and they just look great.

What tires are you running with this setup?
