Steering wheel shutter at low RPMs
2016 C450. About 9K miles.
Sometimes when backing up, when you turn the wheel you hear and feel an "shuttering" in the steering wheel. I've noticed it a couple of times when starting from a stop, turning and going forward as well.
Is this a known issue? Of coarse when my wife brought the car to the dealer they said it didn't do it to them.

yes, its a known thing. mine does this. as you said, when taken to the dealer and demand them to update software to fix this (and tranny stuttering) they say they can't replicate anything and don't do a damn thing about it. i've learned to just deal with weird feeling.

Happens in just normal mode. It's my wife's car and she has been complaining about it. I'll just take it to the dealer again and see if they will actually try and diagnose. If there is any sort of service bulletin available that would be helpful but I doubt it.

interesting to mention sport+ mode. that is the only way i drive the car... i will give it a shot in comfort to see if i can replicate.
