2019 C43 exhaust tip tweak
Just wanted to get people's thoughts about this-- for my 2019 C43, the twin exhaust tips look really nice, but I am really bothered by the obvious space between the tip and the real exhaust from the car. There is a visible space where air comes in, and you can clearly see the real exhaust tip in front of it. I feel like if you actually do something to black out the front of the exhaust tip, just so that you cannot see through it, it would improve the look significantly. Does anyone know whether this would be unsafe to essentially cause a blockade of the real exhaust maybe 2" away from the real tip? Is there a solution that anyone can think of that can improve this look which does still work?

Like what? I think most of the other stuff are all subjective, like adding spoilers, painting calipers, etc. They are all based on taste and our much you want to rice your car out. This is the only one item that Mercedes (IMHO) made a mistake in to make the exhaust tips look so obviously fake. It isn't that I subjectively want another color or a carbon fiber, etc, it just straight up looks fake.

Tuned '18 C43 coupe & Stock '18 GLE43 coupe
I did a 63 rear conversion with the black AMG fake tips on my 18'. Also have a aftermarket exhaust. You can clearly see the stainless muffler and real tips thru the holes. I spray painted the entire visible area of the muffler and tip in matte black. Not so obvious anymore.

The fake tips help to keep those exhaust tips clean. If you have real tips, it's one of the hardest things to clean while washing the car. I like the fact that the real tips are connected to the fake ones (even if there is a slight gap).
