Should i buy this 2016 C450
Hi All,
So i have been in the market for over 8 months and i finally made the decision to go for a C450 AMG that was priced at $28,695. The car does have 52k mileage and though the car fax does not show an accident history it does show a 1 time damage history.
I was able to negotiate the car's out the door price (including down payment) down to $33,800 including all the interest paid. (yes i calculate the grand total of interest into the total i pay).
My question: Is it a good idea to buy this car. I can do regular oil changes myself but i don't see my self working on highly advanced components like engine, tranny etc. The dealer did offer to include a bumper to bumper warranty for $1,500 more (40k miles or 3 years) but idk if i should go for it.
All in all, any advice would be helpful. Also if anyone can help me calculate what the expected value of the car would be in 5 years that would also be super helpful.
Breakdown:

I purchased my C450 (Polar white, cranberry red leather, black ash woodgrain) a few months ago with ~21k likes for 38k. No regrets at all.

Yeah I test drove it and it is to my liking interior and exterior wise. Just wondering if it's a good decision in terms of mileage and maintenance.

Purely speaking to the maintenance side, if you're able to do the oil change yourself, you can do the brakes yourself as well. These will likely be the only regular services you'll need to worry about during your ownership. The M276 engine has been around for a while and they seem to have a fairly robust lifespan, but the car is still a Mercedes. Trans and diff fluid swaps aren't terribly difficult either.
The $1500 for the extended warranty could be worth it in a single failure. Is the purchase from a Mercedes dealer or other indy lot? That'd be my only concern with the warranty. Shouldn't be a problem if it's being offered through MB, but things can get tricky if it's an indy lot's warranty package. If not MB, read the details carefully.
Also, props to you for thinking big picture on the financing.

Post pictures and don't hesitate to ask for help in any of the forums (W205 Sedan as well)... Suggest researching prior to starting a thread, there's typically a thread or two out there reflecting the same issue/inquiry.
