W205 c450. Outside door handle came off. How to reattach?

W205 c450. Outside door handle came off. How to reattach?



I assume the metal bars inside door need to slide into plastic gaps... but how without forcing them?

You'll need to pull the interior door panel to reconnect everything. However, seeing as the door handle is obviously not meant to be removed, I doubt you'll be able to simply pull the panel and reconnect. Something is more than likely broken internally that will need replaced.

Fyi, dealership under warranty said screw wasn't torqued. Found screw in door. Reattached with lock tight screw glue. All good. Cost zero.
