OEM Tow Hook Location in 2019 C43 Sedan?

My wife has a 2019 C43 Sedan and for the life of me I cannot find the OEM tow hook. We recently did a track event and checked the manual but could not find the actual tow hook in the trunk as described. We have another event coming up this weekend so I would like to find it.

Can anyone point me to where the tow hook should be located or confirm if there is even one in the vehicle?

Interesting, I’ll check my car and see where it is.

I think it's in the compartment under the floor of the trunk along with some other stuff.

It's actually located in the left hand side of the trunk. There is a small rear deck on the left hand side of the trunk, with the bigger opening on the left hand side that you can see in the photo below (showing the tow hook). You can slide your fingers from the left hand side and pull the tow hook outside.

Thank you for that. I will check again tonight. So it is mounted on the underside of the rear deck (like where speakers would be mounted in a sedan), not under the flooring (like where a spare tire would be)?

Yes. You don't have to remove any panels/sheets to get to it. Just open the trunk and look at the left hand side of the car.

Thanks again for your help. I found it no problem last night. I also took a photo that might be more clear to others where it is actually located compared to the incorrect location listed in the manual:

Actual Tow Hook Location

Mercedes Owners Manual Location (Not Correct)

Yep, looks like it's wrong in the sedan owner's manual. The pic above is for the convertible. The coupe and sedan have it below the rear shelf and the coupe has the correct location in the owner's manual.
