Best Launch Technique?

I have a '18 C43 and I have not had much experience launching. I tried the other night and was not very successful... I had the Traction control totally off and I Held the car at 1500-2000 and launched but it was slow. I also tried to press the gas and let off the break as the RPMs came up but I found that to be very inconsistent.

What is the proper technique form the guys that are getting the better 0-60 and or 60' times?

Personally, I found the car launches the hardest when I brake boost to 2k+ and hold it for about 3 seconds, traction off, sport+. Let the boost gauge fill up

Best way to launch is to power brake- left foot brake full pressure, then depress throttle and fill up boost gauge as much as possible. Typically about 2/3 before the brakes will groan. Then quickly floor it whilst depressing the brakes.
The shifter should be in Auto, ESP off, and suspension in Comfort. Using this method I got the above verified Dragy GPS times.
Without power braking on the launch, it was 4.33 0-60 and 12.3 second 1/4 mile.
This is on a stage 1 car.

(Do not power brake for too long or do this excessively as puts a big stain on the all mounts and driveshafts.)

Thanks had fun doing it too! Not bad for an Estate with the power robbing EGPF as well.

May not be the launch most are looking for however I find if you activate the "HOLD" brake feature by depressing hard on the brake at a stop and taking your foot off the brake, then when the light turns green go hard on the accelerator you get a more aggressive launch from stand still.

Why launch in comfort suspension over sport+?

Suspension in comfort yields better launch times.

Weight transfers better to the rear when in comfort versus in sport or sport+.

Yup this is mainly the reason. I couldn't had said it better. For sporty driving, that is when stiffer suspension helps, especially when cornering and the vehicle is not too floaty on the highway at high speed making it dangerous (especially on the autobahn).
