Tire Pressure Monitor system when changing wheels

Hi there, can someone advise me on how the Tire Pressure Monitor Systems work with (18 plate) C43's if wanting to change my wheels? If I buy new AMG wheels, is it a case of simply removing the TPMS units from the old wheels, and fitting them on to the new ones, and is it straight forward to do so? Or does that not even need doing?

Also, if I were to want to buy new sensors so I could sell my old wheels along with the old tires still on them, which TPMS part would I need?

Any explanation would be appreciated.

Cheers

They just swap over. If you buy new ones you have to get them from the dealer. Must be programmed to the car.
