I also am getting the factory "AMG" software tune in the spring that should give me the additional 29hp that the C43/C450 got over my car.
Curious about the factory AMG tune (also have a 400)...very interesting

I also have a 2015 C400 with 45,000 miles, the difference in performance is amazing. The C400 is quiet and responsive but the C450 is a beast in my opinion (wish the exhaust sound was more noticeable in comfort and sport, sounds amazing in S+). I originally had a 2013 C350 (rest in peace, she was flooded during Hurricane

Harvey) that was also fully loaded and i thought that car was amazing for a 3.5 V6, my mind was completely changed after driving the C450 though.

Dropped it off at the dealer yesterday to have the steering rack bolts changed due to a recall. Other than the vibrating steering wheel when reversing and straightening the wheel (which Mercedes-Benz of West Houston Sewell said is normal) and some interior rattling the car is pretty solid.

Any advise on things i should have the dealer look for while the car is in the shop for the recall? Manufacture warranty expires on 01/28/2020 since i only have 24k miles, I did purchase the extended warranty because I know from previous experience that the repairs can be very costly. How about any available updates? Any retrofits that wont void the manufacture or extended warranty?
Congratulations! I've had my 450 since May and have no ragrets! Yes, ragrets. "steering rack bolts changed due to a recall." -- Did you get a letter in the mail on this? I haven't heard anything.

just saying - gearing is way better and the 9g has just as many quirks despite people saying its a huge upgrade. the gas mileage improvement was negligible from my experience too.
You're probably the first one to state that and I appreciate the honesty. Been following your thread and the blacked out grill looks superb.
