K&N cold air intakes??

Hey all, just saw this K&N cold air intake that says it fits our c450s: https://www.autozone.com/intake-system/air-intake-system/k-n-high-performance-air-intake-system-69-7071ts/493812_965361_0?cmpid=PLA:US:EN:AD:NL:1000000:PEL: 71700000043780889&gclid=Cj0KCQiAgKzwBRCjARIsABBbFu jjSyWEd-8xvIDHrTtaDsYCg7H7Y2Gy_YFKnY0CQxGMEYYB_RzaXccaApBJ EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

I love k&n and was wondering if any of you have this or can confirm if it fits! Thanks all!!

Try to get dry filters,,

keep away from oily filters, they're really an Enemies of "Mass air sensors" & "Map sensors"..

Is it? Some people have claimed more power from their aftermarket intakes.

Imo I saw more power but also improved throttle response also.

The sounds are great also.

Subjective though. I definitely felt more horsepower and improved throttle response, but hated the sound enough to remove it.

BMS intake sounds great, looks great, fits well, and opens up the top end performance.

I would like to ask you something... I looked under my hood and noticed that the stock intakes take cold air from the front of the engine and feeds it straight to the filter boxes. Constrained yes but cold air and dare I say, possible ram air effect. BMS intakes look like they're just getting more hot air from the engine. Had you considered leveraging the existing stick cold air feed? To me, eliminating this feature is a reason to avoid aftermarket but I'm a total noob so...

It's part of the factory intake restriction so would completely defeat the purpose.
