New C43 owner from Colorado
After much research, a lot of which was done through this forum, and even more of saving, I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a C43! I brought it home last night! I still can't believe it's in my garage.
My car is a 2019 Coupe with 7700 miles. I traded in my 2018 Lexus IS350 F-Sport. I could go into a comparison between the two based on my experience thus far, but I don't think that would interest this audience.
Although my IS350 was a sedan, and I originally test-drove a C43 sedan, I went with the coupe for the additional track width and for the sake of having a car built in Germany. I have read various concerns from owners on this forum regarding the cars built in Alabama and desired to avoid that. There's also something about being a full-blooded German and wanting a car that was actually built in my home country.
The car's exterior is Graphite Metallic Grey. Having seen that color previously on a sedan in both daylight and at night, I fell for it. The interior is Cranberry Red. The Cranberry Red is almost identical in color to the Rioja Red I had in my IS. The natural grain black ash is also a welcome addition.
The only must-have options I was looking for was the night package and the performance exhaust. This car has both. After having read time and time again how much the PE was a winner for folks on this forum, I had to have it as well. That soundtrack is exceptional. The illuminated star is also a nice, if not somewhat pretentious, touch.
Despite others' thoughts to the contrary, the Burmester audio is more than satisfactory in my opinion. My IS had Mark Levinson audio and I consider this on par.
I did end up with the 19" wheels and the run-flats. In line with other feedback on this forum, the run-flats are road-noisy and you certainly feel every groove in the road. I will replace them at some point. Should I replace the rims, too, or are there good tires that fit the 19s?
I have learned a lot from reading this forum the last few months and hope to give back to the community in some small way. Here's an obligatory pic; it's the only one I have now. Cheers!

Congrats! Beautiful car! As far as the rims go... Mercedes rims aren't the sturdiest but I haven't had any issues since swapping the runflats. BUT prior I had a few blowouts and once hit a pothole that blew out the sidewall, bent my rim, and destroyed the steering module (Jersey streets...smh). My suggestion is to swap the runflats ASAP!!!

I have same color and interior color. Night package with pe exhaust and the digital dashboard. I have the oem carbon fiber spoiler but I went with 18” inch wheels. Roads are terrable here in NY. I also added the oem aluminum door lock pins and a set of weather tech floormats. I’ve added kn air filters and ultra racing strut brace that I painted red. I’m waiting for the spring to put on my Bosch aero windshield wipers. Oem ones streak to much. One more surprise coming soon.
love the color combo obviously. Best of luck with it.

With the night package, the exterior accents of the car (front splitter trim strip, louver, etc) that are normally chrome are black instead.

Just personal taste. Cost you 100$ for the 2 kn air filters. I think closer to 200$ for bmc. You would not tell the difference regardless. I had bmc in my rs5. I like personally the heavy sturdier frame of the kn

Another Colorado C43
Welcome, I too live in the Denver area and picked up a 2017 C43 Sedan earlier this year. Completely love the car, only regret is mine doesn't have the performance exhaust option.
Hope we bump into each other at one of the local cars & coffees

Nice looking car - congrats
The tire and rim thread has a ton of info on the tires most of us switch out the run flats for. I personally went with Michelin Pilot A/S3+'s. I'm in Ontario and went UHP A/S to handle the shoulder season low temps before I swap on the winter tire. The Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 is another good all season. If you want a summer tire, there are quite a few running Pilot Sport 4S.
The key is getting the Runflats off before you smash up a rim.
