Reviving an old thread instead of creating a new one, but does anyone know if its possible to just take the MB to the dealer and have them upgrade th e front grill to the amg/oem panamericana grill instead diy or random body shop?
I figure dealers could easily add other things like running boards or other accessories, wouldn’t be the same with the front grill?

but I did the math, a GLE 450 starts at 65k but with 3k amg option comes out to 68k and the amg 53 starts at 74k, roughly 6-7k difference. And any body shop would prob charge say 1-1.5k for parts and labor to install (and hope nothing breaks in the process)
so looking at maybe 4-5k for all that extra headache and time. I might be worth it to just save up for a few extra months to spring for the GLE AMG 53.

Hi Everyone, I got to reach out to MB Weston and nice people. Got quoted $ 400 for the grill install.... the grill is costing me $500 CAD shipped to canada... any cheaper alternatives... almost 900 for grill seems too much.
