Glad to hear! If you ever need any tuning advice we're just an email or post away.

i've tried searching for dyno results after jb4 tuning.

Anyone dynoed their cars?

Thanks.

2018 C63s Coupe 2016 C450 DAILY
Wanted to give everyone an update and let you know that I went with a JB4. I just ordered a dragy, excited to see actual times. I can definitely notice a significant difference in power/pull. I come from owning a C63s coupe and I can say that off the line the C450 feels faster and just wants to keep pushing whereas before I felt like it’d want to bog down after 70MPH. Still getting used to launching properly without a boost gauge or launch control.

Will post some dragy times here soon.

Interested to see difference in numbers between stock - also have a bare C450 if you didn't see recent posts.

What gas are you running and what map(s)? Considered purchasing a Dragy for the hell of it.

got the JB4 on my C-450 also and for the past two weeks I’ve been racing everyone and haven’t lost yet. I’m on stage 1 with 93premium and can definitely feel the difference. Much more snappier and quicker of the line. Just yesterday raced a 2016 E-550 and smoked him bad. With his car having 402hp. That means we are getting good numbers from the JB4 plug n play. Pretty impressive! I also have it on lowering springs and 15 front/ 17.5 rear spacers and a K&N intank

Tune aside, which diffuser are you running for your c450? I've been looking on eBay but worried about fitment and pulling the trigger. Don't really want to spend thousands on a diffuser either

got it from eBay. Didn’t spend a lot and was a perfect fit

Lots of good info in this thread. I'm trying to decide on a tune myself so it's great to hear different perspectives.

JB4 seems like most popular simply because of the price point. I don't think many C43 owners are going to want to spend thousands on a tune..just don't think that's why they bought a C43.

Looks awesome. Got a link to the diffuser kit? And what springs, H&R? Thanks!

I would disagree with that assumption. There are plenty of people in here that spent thousands on their tunes, and even more on wheels for that matter. I just think it's tough to ignore nearly identical results at a fraction of the cost.

Ok well it sounds like we agree on the same thing but disagree on how we got to our conclusion. The price point is likely why they are the most popular....which is exactly what I was implying.

Just by looking at this forum I'd say with a pretty good amount of certainty that JB4 is the most popular tune used by C43 owners. I think there are more reasons for that also. JB4 vs. Flash tune "results" are completely subjective, I can't agree that they are nearly identical at all.

My secondary point is that I don't think as many people buy C43's with the intentions of modding them. This car just has a very limited ceiling for it anyways. Be it as though the C43 is an entry level AMG, I think it attracts more entry level car enthusiasts who imo are less likely to spend a lot of money on mods and because of that, they are more inclined to look at entry level PE piggyback such as the JB4.

The JB4 is unique in that it's a great value and offers several things not possible flash only. So while it's not for everyone for some specific needs it's both the least expensive and best option.
