JB4 For Sale - C43 AMG with wireless controller
JB4 with wireless controller for C43 AMG.
Why selling? I bought AMR V3.1
Any issues? None
Shipping? USPS C.O.D. I will cover $40 of the shipping cost to buyer in my price. (greater 48 US states only) Open to other means but, C.O.D. protects buyer and seller. NO Paypal. NO Zelle. NO Electronic payments. With C.O.D. USPS will deliver to your local post office and place a notice on your door. Buyer goes to the post office and pays post office when picking up. Money and product are exchanged by neutral third party with trust worthy reputation.
Price? $400 US
Suggestions? Buy the JB4 phone app so you can use the wireless controller installed on the unit.
Installation? Easy, hardest part is putting the OBD connector through firewall. IMHO, done in reverse (from inside out) with the small plug taped to a long screwdriver it's easy.
When purchased? I bought the product in October of 2019. The firmware is up to date. If you purchase the wireless app you can custom tune and get updates.

The JB4 is compatible with flash maps too for logging, advanced safety features, and fine tuning based on different fuel mixtures. It's not an either/or thing.

My personal experience is that JB4 is a great value and provides seat of the pants improvements. The AMR tune is more expensive and the value it provides is equal to the price. With AMR vs. JB4 there is a very notable imporvement in the 0-60 time and tip-in throttle from a seat of the pants user experience. I think of a piggy-back versus a true tune like a voltage modulator versus a new software. It would seem to be characteristically unjust to compare them as they are in a different category.
Honestly, they both hold a key segment in the marketplace and provide value for their product price.
My decision to go with AMR was a personal choice based on review of others experience and my personal long term performance goals.
I would recommend both but, in different ways to different user experience goals.
