C43 AMG facelifted Diffuser+pipes on Prefacelift sedan

Hello all!

Past few weeks I am having huge headache.

I own 2017 C43 AMG sedan (prefacelift). Diffuser and pipes do look sexy, however 2019 facelifted rear end looks way more sporty.

is it possible to retrofit 2017 c43 diffuser+ pipes with facelifted version? I found genuine option for 1000€ and it states it is fully compatible to put facelifted diffuser with pipes on any W205 with AMG exterior.

However, knowing facelifted diffuser+ pipes look more than great, I did not manage to find a single real
life example/picture of prefacelift C43 sedan with diffuser of a FL.

Could you please help, if this retrofit is possible? Any examples I could check? Maybe this retrofit would make dummy looks (facelift has 4-pipe, whereas prefacelift has 2-pipes)?

Any opinions? I have hard time understanding why can not I find a single example.

(I attach photo of my rear end prefacelift diffuser - that I would wish to retrofit with facelift diffuser + pipes)

Yea, your comment kind of aligns with the description of the product - it should fit prefacelift. However I wonder if there are any additional works required (exhaust pipe modification/cutting, additional drilling of bolt space in bumper etc.), or everything just perfectly fits the current bumper and diffuser space.

Also, biggest concern to see/talk with people who have actually done it, are they happy, any example photos. Because for me it is impossible to find any example I could look for.

this retrofit seems like a no brained for me, tho genuine parts cost high $$$, I would like to make sure everything’s weighted

Anyone tried this retrofit, and have experience with it? Or photos?

I have a 2018 and installed the facelift diffuser on my sedan. I purchased from cks performance, they have the genuine MBZ part in night package or chrome.

Hey man you are sent from above! Thankyou for picture and comment! Is it possible I find you on Instagram and you could show me more angles/photos of your amazing set?

Any others who did this retrofit and are happy, or have any comments on the upgrade?

I can only speak for the genuine Mercedes part, which is around $1K US, but it will replace the current diffuser 1 for 1 swap. It fits flush and perfect. The material looks pretty solid. I'm happy with it and so far I think it's the best looking mod you can do to a pre facelift C43.

You have to remove the bumper to install it, and it largely attaches via clips.

There are plenty of PFL owners who have converted. From OEM MB parts to ~$500 kits on eBay/AliExpress.

I have my eyes on a C63(s) diffuser and exhaust tip kit for my C450.

I have yet to read any real implications from others on installation, slight modifications though nothing as serious to cutting pieces.
