Shifting Issues in Automatic
Hi everyone,
So I’m having an issue with my car (2019 C43) when in automatic and Sport+ not shifting out of 1st gear. Well it does shift but only after it hits the rev limit then cuts power then shifts. If I could give it a percentage on how often this issue happens it’s about 40% of the time.
I don’t know why it does that. It should be shifting on time not hitting the limit then essentially decelerating then shifting. Makes no sense. It does this in other gears too sometimes but mainly in 1st shifting to 2nd.
I pretty much always drive my car in Sport+ so this is fairly annoying. I’ve just been upshifting it myself when I notice that it isn’t going to shift.
Is this a common issue? I’m going to take it to the dealer but I wanna get some more information first.
