2020 C43 w/ JB4 + BCM
#26
can anyone provide any insight on how to install the BCM? the directions say to connect the blue wire from the BCM to the jb4 connector pin#1? <--- my issue is that within the circuit board, there is nothing that denotes "pin#1"
I have a 2021 GLC43 and am using (trying) the 2015+Mercedes JB4, with this BCM add on to combat the limitations of the CPC module. Burger Support said the BCM should be compatible for the GLC43 since the C43 shares the same M276 motor.
All advice and tips or tricks are appreciated! PM for phone number if you genuinely want 2 help me install lol

MaverickC43 has it right. I did mine last week and the BCM goes exactly where the red arrow is pointing.
I had to take a couple pics with my phone to see the "pin 1" label since my old man eyes are limited.

I just clear the codes when it pops up. Usually only get the code when I switch maps once in a blue moon, maybe once every 400 miles or so. But I have some cheap o2 spacers which help.

Hey I'm looking into getting a jb4 and bcm at the same time for my 2019 c43 coupe. Completeley honest, I've been looking through this thread and Im still soo confused. Do you think you can give any information on the install of the bcm? Can i do it all in my engine bay or do I need to access the underside for anything? Thanks man.

I’m not anywhere near the talent or knowledge of a mechanic. I’m just not stupid. I got everything installed from the top. Others may have better insight and advice. If I can get it done most others who want to can get it done too

I got you thanks. Is there anything specific you'd suggest knowing or doing a certain way if you were to install it a second time? I just wan't to make sure I know what I'm doing before I actually purchase everything.
