Tons of rock chips under door panel. Need advice.

My car has only 23K kms and now both front and rear doors’ bottom side edges look like they have been sandblasted. I live in Alberta, Canada and there are lots of construction going on in the city these days. So basically lots of roads are covered by gravels. I also think this issue might come from winter driving because the car is my daily driver. If it’s a small paint chip, that’s easy to fix usually. But now I don’t think it’s that easy to fix that large area of paint. Even I can fix it with some touch up paint and paint levellers, I don’t think they will look good afterwards. Is there any way to restore the paint? I really need advice from you guys.

Have the same problem where we live and, early on, installed mud flaps that have greatly minimized the damage. I found them on Amazon about 2 years ago for our C63 S and about 3 years ago for our C43, so the links won't help ... but these pictures should (note that at least the 2017 C43 and 2016 C63 S sedans have the same body parts where the mud flaps fit, even though their vehicle compatibility listing won't show this). I put some 3M paint-protection film under the flaps where they contact the outside painted surfaces, just in case I ever wanted to remove them (I haven't). For me, the rubberish material has remained flexible ... but may not be not in -40 weather! #;-(

I do not think there is a DIY repair that will adequately correct the damage. To have it look like new, I think your only option is taking it to a reputable body shop for paint correction/re-spray. To help mitigate the potential of it happening again, you should have some quality protective film professionally installed after the body shop has done its thing (and maybe even the mud flaps referenced above).
