2019 Cabrio question

We can only operate the top when the engine is running. Is that normal? Have never owned a car where that was the requirement. ( actually, we can operate top via fob with engine off)

Ours doesn't work in Acc mode either. Only works with engine on. Beginning to sound like we have an issue.

I have no experience with the cab, but according to the owner's manual the ignition needs to be switched on. That means you have to press the start button twice. One press only turns on auxiliary power and if you press it again (w/o your foot on the brake) then it turns on the ignition. I have a hunch that you are only pressing the start button once instead of twice.
