how easy is it to bend the stock 18s ?

Ran into a pretty nasty pothole recently....very unfortunate as i only have 900 miles on the vehicle... visually doesn't look damaged, but its hard to tell if I can feel it bent, as the car naturally has some feedback to it.

Any good tests I can perform on my own without taking it to service? Hopefully, its just in my head, but once again the car naturally has some feedback so very hard to tell lol.

The 19s seem to bend all the time but mine are 18s at least.

nothing
I took mine to replace the run flats with Pilot 4S and tire shop (non dealer) found a crack on the rim even though I was not losing pressure. They wanted $1500 for a new or $800 for used rim . Took it to a rim repair place and they said it was also bent. All fixed for about 150$. I know I didn't really answer your question but my point is: if it is cracked/bent you should easily be able to fix it. I'd think if it is too bad to be fixable it should lose pressure and /or significantly affect the ride.

How much better are the pilots? Also did you have the bent rim in the front or the back? 18s or 19s? Did you personally notice it was bent or only after they told you?

18. I saw the crack on the front rim but not the bend. I think a bend may or may not be visible. I was told by the shop that it was bent.

lol do you recall hitting some badly, or did you only know after the tire shop mentioned it?

If it cracked without you even noticing, these rims must be really soft lol

If regular non run flats are bending the 19s, generally speaking, all amg rims are garbage then.
