DME Tune

Anyone running a DME tune on their car ? Currently running a JB4 on my PFL 17 C43 coupe w/MST intake. I'm looking at tuning options that are NOT AMR because the owner was not exactly the nicest guy to me when I didn't say anything bad about AMR. I only wanted to hear reviews from owners and not spokespersons for the company. Ironically, before he kicked me out of a Facebook group I literally planned on purchasing the AMR tune and a Wagner intake from their website. So anyways I'm debating between DME and Eurocharged. Anyone chime in about DME? I see alot of great reviews for the C63, but can't find many posts or videos of the C43.

Be sure to keep the JB4 installed (on map0 to start) for logging. Then based on the log can use it for fine tuning to optimize your setup!

Yes I plan on keeping the JB4 and stacking with the tune and since I'm just dabbling right now with the idea of a full blown ecu tune the JB4 is great, but want to run catless downpipes in the future .

I’m currently running DME stage 2 with catless red star down pipes and BMS intakes. It’s definitely quick but I didn’t have JB4 prior to going flash tune. I’d say it is as quick as my B8.5 S4 with lower DP ratio then others.

As a note, Our cars are not a platform they focus on so don’t expect them to continually provide updates or help dial in things like WMI or any other additional upgrades.

That doesn't make sense. Stage 2, down pipes, and intake and it's only as quick as an S4? Stock a C43 is already faster then a S4. Your S4 was tuned right

Makes perfect sense. S4 tuned with double pulley (DP) crank pulley: 187 mm and SC pulley 57.5 mm. Also has WMI running E30. And BTW the C43 is not faster off line, 0-60 mph then the S4 in stock mode.

Numerous sites all list the C43 0-60 quicker then the S4 . I would expect the S4 to be faster off the line given the advantage of having launch control but that's not what all the sites say when comparing both models. It's all good tho i don't expect to be winning against every car on the street but definitely need more power then I currently have.

Owning both, I can tell you the S4 is so much better of a platform then the C43. Just look at the value of a 2013 S4 vs a 2016 C450. The S4 with similar mileage will always be valued higher.

I owned a tuned S3. The aftermarket of the C43 is lacking that's for sure, but my C43 coupe looks and sounds light years ahead of my S3 with the RS3 grill. People would give **** about the RS3 grill then ironically Audi releases it with a honeycomb grill..I honestly don't think I'd go back to Audi. I had issue after issue with that car..two failed water pumps in 6 months, had my haldex, haldex controller, and rear differential all have to be replaced. My AC failed in the middle of a Vegas summer of 110 degrees..list goes on. If I ever went back to an Audi it would have to be for an RS6 or better..the S3 and S4 just look so plain. I've never turned heads in my S3. Looks like a hyundai elantra. The C43 in coupe format is sexy as ****...
