Everyone is definitely entitled to their option, but its not that different than any open air pod filter for any car in terms of aesthetics. The heat shields will maybe pretty things up, but this is an exercise in function over any type of beauty. The removal of the duct tray was necessary to nestle the pods towards the front, but we are confident in the product and reactions from the community will be the ultimate say.
We have received many positive comments out our downpipes, from the build quality, customer service, to the sound. and these will be no exception.
@mavc43 we spoke privately i believe. We are waiting to finish our intercooler to dyno everything separately in one session.
To prove that these have power gains (at least on the "seat of your pants" dyno") , im personally inviting any 2 or 3 completely bone stock c43's or c450's or c400's to try them out at a gathering in the Westchester NYC area. We will strap you on with the kit to try for 20 min ! this can happen within the next 2 weeks
they wont have the heat shields, because those are in development but a quick run wont induce drastic heat soak.
