Ugh people have no respect. Probably a rock.
If possible try and park inside on 4th of July. Too many drunks and dorks.

Ouch! Where are you located? Too many potential vandals to park nice cars outside overnight. I parked my previous car on the street one night, because our driveway got resealed, and I had a kicked in quarter panel the next morning. Won't do that ever again. Both our cars stay garaged while at home. Parking on the street is fine in the suburbs, but not in the city. Luckily it's only the windshield. Normally that's covered by the comprehensive part of your policy. I've long lowered my comprehensive deductible to $100 after having a few cracked windshield due to road debris. Got tired of paying out of my pocket. It's expensive on these cars. Looks like you don't have the driver assistance system, but your camera still needs to be calibrated. I had my windshield replaced on my C63S coupe a few months ago. Dealership did it in-house with factory trained glass technicians and full calibration. Was almost $1400, but it only cost me $100.

That is so irritating! As stated above, it could have been worse. I had my windshield replaced about a year ago at an MB dealership and it was approximately $1400 for parts an labor.
