if the tuner knows what they are doing the motor will be able to handle it. Torque will kill the motor rods. a lot of us heavy modded guys are running 475-500WHP and 600+ft lbs of torque. The car falls off pretty hard on the upper rpm due to not enough air from turbos. as long as torque can be capped, bigger turbos should only help.
I am currently looking into turbos for the future and I think it will make this car even more fun.

Got the car back today, drove 600 kilometres home. I don’t have dyno fighres, can say it is neck and neck with F Type Jaguar SVR 5.0 V8 supercharged on. Rolling drag race, so pretty happy as that car is pretty quick.
in Summary also had the Weistec TCU upgrade. Was needed as TCU was limiting g the power and the gearbox needed the higher line pressure to avoid slipping and speed up shifts.
W.3 turbo upgrade, ECU and TCU flash
water methanol injection
Weistec blow off valves
high flow air intake.
No cat delete as would not pass warrant of fitness without.
other thing is replaced all tyres with Michelin Pilot Sport 5’s
and critically wheel alignment with 1.5 Deb negative camber. Stops under steer, and gives more bite to the front end. But be careful as when back end let’s go very hard to catch it. My car has LSD

Drag times
Went to recent Dads day drags on an unprepared track. Very slippery but improved throughout the day. Best was a slow 12.8 @ 112.3mph 0-60 ft 2.495

Well the thread if you look for the backup was asking about cars that had had the Wisetech W3 turbo upgrade and other upgrades. I was asked if I had any quarter-mile times this is the response to that so if it’s not relevant please delete the post.
I had detailed the modifications done to the car as people were asking if anybody had done this

I think you have missed the key information in my post. Traction was a significant issue on the day and with a 0-60ft time of 2.495 seconds no chance of getting in to low 12’s Short wheelbase, low profile road tyres and firm suspension don’t help with traction. But hey ho it’s not a drag car but an incredibly fun road car. If you think a good ECU tune will do the same good for you.

@C43HeartBoost glad you took responsibility for the bad because I was about to light you up! Been drag racing for years, @hmcparland you are correct with a 2.45 60ft the time and mph are worthless. Bet you would put up some reaaallllyy impressive numbers your next go around. With my Eurocharged tune and intake, I know my car has a 11.99 or better in it with good air (DA) and some cool temps. I'm in MD, and hoping to maybe get to the track tonight.
Were you tuned prior to getting the turbo upgrade? If so, was the turbo upgrade the same butt dyno feeling? What I'm asking is stock vs. tuned was night and day (for me), and I'm assuming tuned vs. turbo upgrade was the same feeling? Thanks for your response in advance brother!
Side note- my man Bayhas @Eurocharged_HQ is getting me a MS100 tune, and I will post all of my dyno numbers (I'm going to go stock vs Eurocharged tune vs. Eurocharged MS100 tune). I know with that tune and race gas this car will really be putting up impressive numbers and quarter mile times.

Thanks for the response! I forgot to mention, I am in a GLC43 but you probably picked that up from my username. Where are you located? Elevation is another big factor for quarter mile drag racing too.

What we really need developed are fuel mods to allow e85 tunes on this platform just like BMW/Audi tunes. E85 with tuning i am confident, would get our cars into consistent 10's 1/4mile. I'm so close now, but without a proper e85 tune I dont think its possible without risking engine failure. Upgraded turbo not needed.

I agree with you regarding the need for a mainstream e85 tune for this platform (assuming the HPFP, LPFP and other upgrades needed to reliable run above e30). I have been running e30 on my Stage 2 c43 for over 2 years. Fast and fun car, but I have hit a ceiling as I am not putting more $ into the car given the limited aftermarket support fort the platform. Selling the car in about a year anyway for the next project.
Can I ask whats been your best 1/4mile time with E30? Im currently stage 2 with just I/E/downpipes/intercooler - full weight 11.49@120mph.
I've hit my ceiling as well. Im waiting for some cooler weather to do some more passes soon.
