Does anyone have ASR Module for sale for 2019 c43 AMG or knows where to buy it?
I tried from their website but it says they don't ship to NY.

Any info is appreciated

 

Use a forwarding service to have it shipped to NY but if there is anyone offering for sale, it will be in the market section, usually.

 

Renntech EVM is the same unit and licensed for North America. ASR won’t sell directly to customers here.

 

Problem is RENNtech is selling for double or more the price, I actually recently read some members being able to get ASR to ship directly to USA, while others are having trouble, it depends on reaching the right person, for those that aren't successful, they resorted to mail forwarding services.

 

I tried about a week ago to get ASR to ship to Canada - they said I had to order from Renntech. Bought a used CETE one instead. Should get it today!

 

Well CETE depends on usage but could be even better as I believe you control it directly with the factory exhaust button.

I just ordered one through RENNtech last week and spoke to Mitch. He was very helpful and knowledgeable with the product! I haven't installed it yet but the instructions look simple enough.

 

What I found strange is that in the other thread people from the USA was able to order directly from ASR. Shame that I can't find that thread anymore If I do find it again I will link it here, but basically you need to connect with the right person. That said, not the end of the world if you can't reach the right person, just use mail forwarding.

 

I bought my ASR evm for my C63S directly from ASR back in 2021. I went through a German freight forwarder, just Google for one as there are several you can choose from. They charged a nominal ~$30 fee at the time. I received my evm within 3-4 weeks and saved around $250 buying direct over the inflated Renntech prices.

 

Just installed the CETE one - bought it used here and frankly hits all the marks for me.

• Cheaper than RENNtech
• Remembers last state (starts either 100% open or 100% closed)
• Is controlled by the factory PE button
• Can be temp disabled by using the ESP button

Install is slightly more complex than the ASR/RENNtech one because you have to tap into the CAN-BUS but not that bad.
Biggest issue I had was all the instructions and photos were for the coupe/sedan and the 2 wire to tap into are a bit harder to find in the wagon. Sounds good though. And tech support was fantastic. I literally emailed them and got responses, photos and support right away even though I didn't buy it new from them.

I do wonder what is that "safety" feature ASR mentioned about in that email shared by another forum member above.
