2018 C43 AMG - Canadian Recall
Anyone else had this recall and gotten it taken care of? What was the process/ how long did it take for them to fix the issue?
The software update helps "dampen" the torque command of the accelerator to reduce the infamous bucking of the C43 cars. Owners report slightly smoother shifts.
This update has been known to kill the loud upshifts with the performance exhaust but make it so the exhaust flaps are more open during regular driving (more burbles, less bangs)...

I haven’t been driving much in Sports + since but will test this out as the bucking shift from 1 to 2 was a little much previously.
I did notice the car sounding quite “nice” at urban speeds. I’ll have to test the performance exhaust out soon, but I think you have accurately described the changes.
I wonder if this is actually good or bad overall.
