Loud Interior Tire Noise Remedies?

I am curious if anyone else has noticed loud tire noise in their C43's interior while traveling on the highway. I am running a fairly new set of Continental contisportcontact 5p tires. I have experimented with different tire pressures, but still have loud tire noise. I know runflat tires are usually noisey, but this seems unusually loud for me. I will probably go with Michelin Pilot Sports as replacements when these wear out.

I am curious if anyone else has noticed this and what did they do to remedy this problem.

Thanks in advance, AXO

I was able to lessen it by dropping tire pressures slightly, but in the end, I changed the runflats out for Michelins..The ride and noise improved somewhat.

I thought about lining my trunk area with Dynamat Extreme. I know a lot of audiophiles use this stuff and say it works well.

Dynamat 10455 Xtreme Bulk Pack Cut-to-Fit Thermal and Sound Insulation (speedwaymotors.com)

I typically only carry my golf clubs on the trunk..A quilted blanket of the type movers use is easier and a crapload cheaper.

Tire noise in my PFL coupe was never that bad in my opinion. It did get quieter when I put my first set of PS4S on though (among all the other benefits of better tires).

I have the Performance Exhaust on 99.9 % of the time I travel in Sport + Mode, But for long trips , I like comfort mode and would like to be able to hold a normal conversation with my rear passenger(s).

I agree but I think this car is poorly sealed. There is just so much noise entering the cabin regardless of tires. I switched to firehawk indy 500's and you can still hear them along with the wind.

It actually depends on the particular car, some W205 are better sealed than other W205s but in general, the facelift W205 is better sealed than pre-facelift.

I have a Face Lift. I can only imagine how loud the Pre-Face Lift are.
