Consensus on diverter valves?
I ordered the GFB DV+ that I was going to install on my GLC43. The weather was bad so I was watching videos on it. Before ordering, I saw nothing but good things said about them. I came across a couple of videos that are actually negative and make sense. For those that have been running them for a long period of time, what are your thoughts? I’d rather return them and put the money towards something better if it isn’t worth it.

I've been running Weistec BOV for 4+ years now, no issues. I'm not a professional but the difference between BOV and Diverter Valve is one is blown into atmosphere and one is blown back in the intake. BOV gives it more sound while Diverter Valve is quieter. Both is good to have either way since the pressure from excess boost can cause turbo damages.

In the first video, Chevy Cruze Dave is wrong on on how the GFB Diverter works. He explained that air only flows through the small opening in the valve. Not correct. GFB is a pilot actuation valve where the plunger is activated by the factory solenoid opening that small port, which then allows the larger piston to open as needed. The piston is spring loaded so it can open progressively and as much as needed to divert the required boost pressure.
I agree, your tuner will give you the best advice on what is best for your car and configuration. That recommendation will be unique to your setup.
I've been running the GFB Diverter + with great results. Yet, I have a stock M274 engine. It seems to fit my situation perfectly and I'm very pleased with the reliability and performance.

I have the GFB diverters for the past 2 years, no problems and no real benefits either
