Was at ECC a few times this month and saw your car up on the hoist, Slav pointed it out.

Congrats!

had a few issues will get it all sorted out over the winter. Will need some more reinforcements to make the build more reliable.

yea parted out only turbos left to sale. Unfortunately we can’t make any more power on the block. We were hoping for more but that’s about all it can handle. Was a fun built did break all the records for a c43. But i just need to be in the high 900-1000 whp. Will pick up a car this winter just doing some homework on some different models

What was the major hold back on making more power? Just general strength and durability, or was something actually limiting you from making more power?

the bottom end won’t hold more power that’s all. So before causing any damage we tuned the car down.

Wow, I thought you had rods and pistons. So even with rods and pistons it won't go past, what? 600 whp?

Was there something that happened that made you think it couldn't hold more power?

yes I have rods and pistons they are still there and the turbos are still on. Upon inspection of the bottom end you can start to see some hair line fractures where a few bolts are. So I got that looked after and lowered the boost level. It’s a nice car. Don’t want to blow it up. So now from my experience I would not push these cars past 530-550 whp. I mean maybe nothing will happen but maybe it would go kaboom lol. So I parted out the car and just left the turbos and built motor in downpipes stage 2 ECU TCU. And a little extra boost lol

If you don’t mind me asking, whereabouts was it starting to hairline fracture and what did you end up doing to resolve it?

easy fix like I said hairline. The shop took care of pinned it. No damage was made to the block like leaks or anything. Just don’t want to keep pushing the car at that limit for permanent damage. Car is holding out fine with stage 2 turbos and built motor on pump gas. Runs great no issues. They were on the bottom of the block close to the cranks case. Thin wall. Honestly cheap block in the c43 which is kinda disappointing. But I’m sure the don’t expect people to make it 700 plus hp either
