Clunking noise when letting off gas.
I did transmission mount, a driveshaft flex disk and front differential pinion seal replacement since there was leak. Did this first because i thought that this was the cause of clunking Labour was like 7h @ a local indy shop, guy works from his house. 100$/h. so 700$
Problem wasn’t fully solved but there was an improvement.
Decided to do motor mounts, and i had my high flow dp’s installed at the same time. Charged 8h all in, but he said it took close to like 12-13h. He didn’t charge extra though. so 800$ takes a long time because you have to take downpipes off and remove exhaust in some places.
In the beginning, we didn’t know motor mounts were shot so i could have saved money in the end if i did all 3 mounts( motor and trans) together but oh well.
I paid like 200 for transmission mount, 300-350 for both motor mounts. CAD, bought off of fcp euro

Thanks for the update OP! Hmmm, strange the problem wasn't fully solved though. Mine is more like a tick but I also do hear a clunk sound when I put the car in manual mode and hit the throttle a little similar of what you did in your videos:

Problem is solved now, i meant it wasn’t solved after just trans mount.
Oh gotcha, glad to hear it is resolved! Sorry for all the questions but do you get that whining/whiring noise when you shift from P to D and P to R and or a click that sounds like parking pawl (inside the cabin) though as shown in one the youtube videos I linked?
Here is a better video of the whining/whirring sound and much more clear when the recording device is close to the floor:
Do you have this sound as well? Is it normal? Thanks a bunch! The whining/whirring sound occurs every single time you shift from Park to Drive or Park to Reverse.

Ill try and see if i notice it.
Thank you! Greatly appreciate it! Please also let me know if you hear a tick/click/tap not sure how you describe it when you press park with all doors and windows closed, I understand a parking pawl is engaged and makes a noise I am not sure you are supposed to hear it in the cabin. If you can record a video of you shifting those gears that will be great as well but all good if it is too much trouble don't worry about it.
Forgot to ask, do you get any vibration at all in sport+ on warm idle that can be felt in the steering wheel and/or passenger seat before or post mount swap? Trying to know if that is normal for this car, I forgot if it was. Thanks!
Pretty sure it’s normal for a slight shake in sport plus. You can check if you have bad mounts by revving in neutral if you see a lot of engine movement like up and down, it’s prob a bad mount
Ya no movement thank goodness but my mileage is less than yours, I think my transmission mount however might be shot though.
By the way, I want to bring your attention to 3 mods, in case you are interested in any of them:

Well, sold out nationwide and globally, 2132400300, Germany is not making them at the moment. Multiple dealerships in MB said this : (
FCPEuro seems to be on backorder as well so I guess there is some truth to it. https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/mer...eco-2132400300
Edit: FCPEuro shows the genuine Mercedes one in stock but they told me they can't ship it until they can get it from Mercedes and they say it is backordered, what, then why say it is in stock.
