P04F00, P24D62A, P15220, P049600 and P15230
2016 CLS400 V6 twin turbo
If you receive any of the codes such as P04F00, P24D62A, P15220, P049600 and P15230. Wide open throttle regeneration of the charcoal canister has malfunction, Check valve of the evaporative emission control system at full load is jammed open, Purge flow too high, etc.
DO NOT replace the Purge Valve with the original part number 001-470-08-93. Replace it with 001-476-44-32 or Bosch #0280142561.
I had a few of these codes and removed the original purge valve. It was open both ways blowing through it. I looked up the part number and found an original one in packaging on ebay so i ordered. Weeks later I was still chasing codes and replacing other pcv related parts when i came across a post that the original part has a problem. Skeptical but I ordered 001-476-44-32 and boom. Problem fixed, no check engine light for 4 days running.

At what mileage does this valve goes bad??
MB weak purge valve design has a better replacement part.
I am sure you're aware of the vacuum pump tiny check valve that goes missing into the engine, right? There's an unlisted replacement diaphragm available from Chinese suppliers.
tell me more about this part that can get sucked into engine.

M276/8 vacuum pump check-valve !!!
it's the check-valve in charge of the vacuum that works your turbo westagate and intake plenum vacuum actuators.
It gets wasted by high crankcase blow-by pressure... typical of turbo boost pressures.
A little $5 rubber beats a new $300 pump

Conveniently located at Bank2 intake camshaft near firewall. Removed with 1x T-screw.
