Extremely slow 0-60 time in 2018 C43
Hi all, I just picked up a Dragy to test my C43’s 0-60 before I get it tuned in a couple weeks, but I’m a bit shocked by the results. The weather seems ideal, the slope is mild at best, and while there is bad satellite coverage the results were consistent over 3 runs. 6.5 seconds seems absolutely insane to me. The only issue with the car after having it thoroughly inspected is leaking timing covers which are being fixed this week. Apart from that, I’m launching at about 2.5k rpms, not using paddles, traction control off, oil is 200 degrees. Can anyone please tell me why my time might be so slow? Thank you!

Your car is in soft limp mode. There is something wrong. Need a Mercedes scanner to see the hidden fault codes within the modules that a regular bluetooth/cheap plug-in OBD reader can't see.

What tune are u running? It could be the tune cutting boost...I ran almost exact times with no boost on map 3. I thought it was the check valve but I'm getting good boost on map 1...sooo...Check the thread titled ... NO BOOST.

Bring up the boost gauge in the instrument cluster and the engine performance data screen in the center and see if you are making boost and what power it puts out. My guess is also that you are not making boost. You'll have to sort that out before even remotely considering a tune. You probably have C300 power at the moment, so no wonder you want to tune it. For all you know, it might already have a botched tune.
