Since i drive very little and my app show battery partially charged, i decide to buy the trickle charger.
I want to be sure that i am use it correctly. The red clam goes to the red box terminal, and the black clam goes to the copper terminal. Then plug into the wall power. Please see the picture of my engine.
During the pandemic, we were constantly using the maintenance charger so I installed a cigarette-style charger socket located in the front license plate (since that suits the parking stall in the garage). It's so convenient that we've continued to use it ever since. The OEM battery lasted 8 years, so the effort seems to be worth it.

that is perfect connecting points (never directly to battery top) and a nice fully automatic smart charger sold by MB made by the CTEK company.
These cars really benefit from well batteries to run engine better.
