Thanks to Aman, JP, and a few other MBWorld “regulars” for helping me keep my sanity while waiting three months for the car. Yeah, yeah, I know, it could have been 6 to 9 months but I usually get my cars from the lot so 3 months is a long time for me.

Yeah, I know. So far it has proven worth the wait. I can't stop smiling when driving this car. My wife called me out today when I volunteered to run two errands that were not needed.
I had a test drive in a C63S last week and that has made me want mine to hurry up and arrive! End or August/beginning of September can't come soon enough!
Beautiful car Iceman! Almost identical to what I would order...if I could ever make up my mind if I want to pull the trigger. Look forward to hearing more from you on your review of the car and how it compares to the M4.

how do you find the shifts, or have you not got that far into it yet
Haven't got that far yet but can tell you I'm pretty impressed with this car. It is really close to the M4 for sure but not quite as good as the DCT. The M4 DCT is magic but it only matters if you are interested in track times -- which I'm not. The sheer power of this car is amazing to the point that DCT or not, you better bring the power if you want to equal this car. Hands down, I think the stock M4 doesn't compare.
With all the issues and sensitivities with this car, I plan to "baby" it and follow the break in period rules so it might be a little while until I can really play with it.
Can u share the msrp. Residual. Money factor. Monthly payment etc plz.... I just ordered mine & worried a bit about what' I hear about the MF etc for 2016
Did you consider the designo diamond white metallic exterior color? Not sure if it's worth the extra $ 1500. Also - were you able to test out the MB sport seats? They look awesome but not sure if they're A) comfortable or B) worth the $ 2500 upgrade.

I actually purchased my car since it makes no financial sense at this point to lease it. The car is hot right now and I'm not sure you'll find any lower than MSRP. You may even find a few marked up so MSRP might be a good deal until the demand drops a bit.

I was going Polar White all the way. As you can see from my pics, I've had nothing but black cars and my M3 was Jerez Black. I remember getting a few rock chips on the M3 and trying to match the special color it had. It was a beautiful color but a pain in the butt to match so I swore I would not go with a special color again unless I decided to cover it completely. The diamond white is a very nice but wasn't on my list since it would also be a PITA to match the color.
As for the seats, I think its personal preference (like most things right) but IMHO the standard seats are beautiful and I really like the fact I can adjust the headrest. I'm 6'3 and like to adjust my seat a lot depending on the length of the ride. You can adjust them in just about every way but the headrest adjustment was important to me. I have the sports seats in the M4 and they are okay but again, IMHO, not worth the extra price.
