Anyone ordered/in possession of a C63 with the designo Platinum White/Black Nappa Leather option? I really like the diamond stitched leather, but worry about that platinum white color. Hard to tell from Order Guide just how light that color is. Also, not sure about it on regular seats vs. performance seats. Part of me thinks it looks better on the regular seats.
Platinum White I have delivered on SL's before. It is milk white in person. It's stunning but very sensitive to dirt, jeans, leather jackets ect. I personally like it better on the standard seats. I will upload a sample of the color tomorrow from a leather swatch we have.
Following up again - does anyone have a platinum white interior - designo or not? I really like it alot (designo especially), but what JP shared is exactly my fear - don't want to always worry about it getting dirty.
One other question...JP hopefully you can answer this one. With the designo Platinum white interior in a C63S, what color is the piece at 12 o'clock on the steering wheel? Is it platinum white?
So I have the platinum white, it's gorgeous and I totally love it. I have had it treated with a leather protector and so far it's stayed clean - 4000 miles on the clock.

Ahh - very nice! And I see it has the platinum white at the 12 o'clock mark on the steering wheel. I think I may be convinced now! Out of curiosity, are you using a special leather protector? Also, see that you went with the silver seat belts vs. the black. Does the silver go well with the platinum white?

In the UK we don't get a choice on the seatbelt colours (we can pick red) but standard is grey/silver. They look great because I had the carbon fibre centre console and this means you keep the aluminium door trims - I think the greys, silver and platinum looks super cool
Platinum white has really grown on me. And love the diamond stitching on the designo seats. Surprised the charge for this option is only $550.
Hey JP - in your experience with platinum white, do the silver or black seat belts look best? I see in the pics you attached they have silver. In the Order Guide they have the black belts with it. I am torn between the two. For whatever it is worth, my wife thinks black looks better. Thoughts?

I spent an hour tonite looking at all of the 2016 C63S's on AutoTrader. Must say this is a great way to see a load of pics of virtually every color/option combination (inside and out). So I found a number of cars built with the designo Platinum White/Black Nappa Leather option. More I see it the more I love it - the diamond stitching on the seats and doors with the black leather contrast just looks so rich to me. Found loads of pics with it paired with the carbon fiber center console and must admit that looks pretty damn good too. One issue though - and can't believe this matters so much but for some reason it really bothers me - the 12 o'clock marker on the steering wheel is black, NOT Platinum White. If you get NON-designo Platinum White seats, the 12 o'clock marker IS Platinum White. So am I crazy for making such a big deal out of this one little piece of leather on the steering wheel???
Here's some more pics with designo Platinum White on the Performance Seats and standard seats. I thought I liked it better on the standard seats, but Performance Seats look damn good! Thoughts?
Are you sure you were looking at the C63 S? IIRC, the non S models don't have the colored 12'clock indicator, regardless of which steering wheel it is equipped with. Only the C63 S has the colored marker. And no, you are not crazy. This was one of the reasons why I bought the S model over the base.

Wish that was it, but yes...it is an S. See link below...
Well that's just stupid. Altho seeing that car makes the wait for mine so much more unbearable. I've got the same white car with night styling package minus the designo seats coming this month.

I saw this color in a 2021 sedan and thought it was sharp, however when I went to build an order I found out the Designo White seat option is not (or no longer?) offered in the C63S Coupe (I didn't check build option on the sedan) -- you can validate this on MBUSA if you build your own. I reached out to the local dealer and they said "no longer an option". ??
@rongpanda Yeah, it’s specifically for saloon not coupe.
@tobeit it was relevant to my car, that’s why I inquired. My c43 is a 2017 and here’s what interior looks like:
I did not say its not relevant but that the guys from 6 years ago likely will not respond. Btw, your rear door handle already looks dirty? I love the look and had white in some previous cars but found no matter what you do it does not age well.
