I think a C63 will come out with the exact same output of CLK63, any less than that would make very little sense IMHO.
By the way: as MB decided to "get rid" of supercharger I think the front of the car (having bigger and bigger engines in it) would eventually get a little too heavy for extreme handling's sake.
I think BMW still has the edge in weight distribution IMHO
Ciao!

Yes it will def. come out with the W/S 204. I have no info about the engine output but I think it's the same as the CLK63

If you look in the previous years Mercedes will not place its baby amg in a category that is faster and for less money then its top of the line amgs. Thus the reasoning why Mercedes won't bring in the CLK63 coupe, (A real shame) and there not bringing in and SL63 as well. Mercedes has always stayed ahead on the horse power wars until Audi brought in the RS4. I'm still putting money on the fact that it will be close to 450-470, but not over 500.
Also placing a eight cylinder motor into the C class wont hurt its handling. If you want to see for yourself go drive the new CLK 550, its faster then the C32,C55,CLK55. A nice improvement over the outgoing CLK500.
The weight comparison on the CLK63 Cabrio is still lighter then the CLK 550 Cabrio. So tuning a car to AMG specs won't hurt it either.
As for resale on our cars, I wouldn't worry to much about it. Any new car we buy nowadays depreciate in value. If we waited for the last model to come out we probably wouldn't buy a perfect piece of engineering. I own a 2003 C32 and love every moment I'm in the car. Sure it's resale is low, but I look at the time and satisfaction I've had it

by the way if it was my choice I would put the exact same power in all "63" models, and I mean the top figure

Uhhhhhhh - duh!!
Can you imagine our 349HP cars with over 500?! I live in Denver and give up 20% of my HP to altitude, and I can still squeal the tires. At sea level, I am sure you guys can burn serious rubber! With 500+ HP we would need 305 or 315 series rubber just to get close to maintaining traction! And the car would be Ferrari/Porchse Turbo fast. My local dealer doesn't think a C63 is very likely - too hard to control, too many liability issues.
Sure would be fun though..............

Denver C32's
I have a black C32 with the plates: "fastbnz". I removed the resonator and added a cd changer, but otherwise I am stock. There is a silver car I see in my area - Orchard and Holly.
Bandy sounds great! Send me an email and let me know more details when we get closer!

Sorry guys OT.
Mike, cool. I'd like to get as many MBs as possible to go on the 16th. A few stock cars would be excellent as a comparison to those who have modified theirs. I'll send you a PM.
