I don't think I like the Headlights. It looks kind of mid-level ricey to me. The overall body shape reminds me of an Audi, but I'm not sure why. Is that pic a projection or the real deal?

My inital reaction is positive. I really think that after seeing it on the road for a few months, I'll really like it.
Remember how different the 203 was from the 202. I think we all got used to it in a hurry.

2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
The cars look like Dr. Z brought his playbook from Chrysler to ply on the Mercedes cars. I am talking about the "cab forward" long wheelbase design with huge wheel arches filled with giant rims and performance rubber. I have seen the "test pets" wandering around So Cal. I am not thrilled with the new pinch in the front that looks like a wedge coming at you. I am also not a fan of the "overcapped" fitment of the hood and trunk. That feature reminds me of a fiberglass clown car, where that style was used to hide the lack of precision in the fit of the panels. There needs to be a bit more rear space for 6 foot people and size 14 shoes in the current C class, and it looks like they are addressing that. The rear doors look longer on the "test Pets." The interiors are from current version cars so I don't know if they will add a bit more padding to the seats, convert to MB-Tex all over. or redesign the dash and door panels.
I think many people will like the new styling. It does not depart very much from the current look. BMW and Audi will need to continue the freebies (paid maintenence) to compete with Mercedes.
