OK. A few people have suggested me to calm down, so I'm going to calm down.

I'm not going to scour every thread to see if it was already posted. The aforementioned post was embedded 30 something replies into the thread. I did do a quick scrollover of each post to see what link they were pointing to. If you feel it was a repost, my apologies, and you can ignore the thread. Yes I am in Littleton.

See now I feel like such an ***. Sorry abt that.
I'm also in Littleton. We need to come up with a plan with a few Denver members and drive to the mountains someday.
Oh I just realized you've sold your CLK. Are you getting close to get an E55 ?
Would love to witness how fast it is.

I just bought the wife a crossfire..I am letting the 211 prices drop like mad so I can pick one up for a great deal. The only problem is I need to keep the AWD pacifica for snow days. Although I work from home, the wife needs it to get to work. I won't be even looking at one until next summer, hopefully.

The price of an 03 E55 is in the low to mid 40s, although this is not the model year you'd want to purchase due to electronic bugs and whatnot.
04 E55 price starts at mid 40s to low 50s. I think it's not going to go too far from that range before the all new model comes out in a couple of years. I've pretty much scratched the idea of getting a used E55 and wait for the C63 instead.

I don't get it, C&D state the weight of the C63 to be 3,800lbs. and in my new issue of Autoweek they say it weighs 3,650lbs.

The one for CD had the optional extra 20 gallon gas tank, topped off.

That was a review? Surely that was just C&D reviewing the press release that everyone in the world got.

I agree. Otherwise it would have been called "First Drive: 2008 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG"

It is a nice beast but has anyone thought about mileage?

Yes, but I couldn't find it. I'm dismayed at the size of the fuel tank though. 66 litres isn't enough. My M5 has a 70 litre tank and it is one of the car's worst features.
