The review is biased and bogus. Top Gear doesn't know **** !! The article doesn't mean **** because it wasn't written by Jeremy Clarkson !!

i dont know man..
even if this article is biased and bogus, i dont think a C AMG has ever beaten a M3 in any magazine articles previously. but the fact that the C63 AMG has caused many magazine authors difficulties to choose between the M3 and the C63, they have already assured to me that the c63 is just as fun to drive as the M3. and now that for once a magazine rated a C AMG as a better car than the m3, the article proves that the whole "amg's are only fast in straight lines" bs are in the past now(though im happy the c63 smokes the m3)

That's not going to make the review any better. Jeremy is very biased and plus he doesn't even like BMW's. I much rather see Tiff Needel do a review.

Read post #5 above. It was a sarcasm, originally posted by someone at the M3 forum.

Saying a review is not accurate because the writer likes a certain brand of cars is crazy. Every car mag in the US has an orgasm over BMW (I love them too, but MB is my fav. still), and so they are heavily biased against MB, and the 63 still wins. Why would Tiff be better? Being a race driver himself, I'm sure he would be "biased" against the MB

I thought EVO mag posted numbers for the C55 that were tied with the M3/beat the M3 before?

It's all one person's opinion. I'm sure the C63 will lose it's share of comparos simply because it's got a slushbox transmission -- as it should.

Funny to read the BMW kids croak about media bias. As an Audi lover from 1992, right through the "sudden acceleration" days, I know what media bias is.

the C63 is just ahead of the BMW thats just the fact no matter what the M3 dudes say. honestly I have owned both mercs and bmw's, drove both the M and AMG engines there is nothing wrong with the Mercs tranmission you have to know how much power its holding together its very impressive.

Am trying to buy either a CLS63 or an M5 this week been leaning towards the CLS63 then drove the M5 and that kinda put the scale back on balance for 2 main reasons heads up display and getting 3 kids in the back. But I think I will make a deal with the CLS63 because its designed to preform on the real world better than the BMW.

I think you missed his sarcasm. That was what the tools over on the M3 forums sounded like over this article.

In evo magazine in their car of the year 2007 issue the CLK Black Series beat the M3, they said it was touching greatness, it was only let down by the gearbox. A CLK is a glorified C Class is it not.

CLK BS and C63 are two completely different vehicles; however, I find myself wanting both.

Someone said no C class AMG ever beat an M3 in a test, I was just pointing out that the CLK Black Series (which is a C class) beat the latest M3 in a test. Besides they use basically the same motor.
