If you have looked under the bonnet of an S5 there is quite a bit of air between the radiator and the front of the engine. Next point the chassis of the A4/A5 is going to be used in the next A6 which means that it has been designed to fit the V10. Another option for the RS4 would be the non turbo v10 from the S6, that would really put the cat amoung the pigeons.

lol, theyre gona do something like this, with theyr usually quirky humor : if you like to drive while shaving a peacock and drinking tea at the same time, pick the RS4. if you like to sit in the back seat and you read todays stock values, while "the force" drives the car for you, pick the AMG. if you like to chainsaw the wood your going to use at your winter log cabin on you ski trip while you drive, pick the M3. but overall, pick the M3.

M5 was more fun, cheaper, and better looking
E63 had a better ride, bigger trunk, and a bit quicker in a straight line.

And we need to remember who runs the show for the most part.
Clarkson will like the MB but will give the nod to the bmw. He has owned many Mercedes cars so the C63 has a chance. I think once the 3 cars hit their test track in the hand of the Stigg, the C63 will not be as quick and therefore it will lose out to the lighter M3.
Ok finally to those who want to watch the show regularly go to finalgear.com. Every episode of fifth gear and topgear is on there in a 700 meg file (hd versions available for new episodes as well). Just download the torrent and get a torrent program and the episode will be on your computer in a night or so. Quality is always very good.

I picked it up 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately it snowed the following day and I had to park it in the garage. I go out there occassionaly though and act like that kid in the Mazda commercials saying "zoom, zoom" to myself.

Apparently the result been leaked
"The results are no one clear winner but it they decide as follows:
Clarkson chooses the AMG C63 as the winner - for it's sheer grunt.
James May chooses the RS4 for it's discretion
Richard Hammon chooses the M3 for it's interaction
The AMG 63 wins the drag (shock horror), M3 2nd, RS4 3rd
The RS4 again comes last round the track , but not sure which won out of the M3 & AMG.

Once they release the new episode (usually Sunday 5-6pm Easter) click on the link and scroll down to "Go get a torrent for this episode" Click on that and it will bring up bit torrent. Save to file and wait.
