production starts for Australia in Feb, for delivery here late april/early may. in the past, LHD production was started before RHD. your cars may already be being built.

My dealer said they'll be building one months worth of 2008s in April and then start the 2009 production in May. He told me that after putting in a call to whomever tells dealers their allocations. He thought building a months worth of 2008s was a little strange. They must be starting production of 08s in Germany before April.

just put my deposit down today, dealer said delivery "around April, but don't hold me to it"

I hope it arrives before the M3. I have a M3 on order but may go for the C63.

Yeah, just recently read somewhere (can't remember where) that said late May delivery. Haven't spoken to the sales guy recently, he'll call me when he knows something. Last time I talked to him he said he didn't think the performance package (speed delimiter to 174 mph, 19-inch rims?) would be offered in the U.S.
