C63 price released?
Source: AutoUnleashed
Mercedes-Benz announced the pricing for their C63 AMG, both the sedan and wagon version. The C63 sedan’s price will start from 67,235 ($93,110), while the wagon’s starting price will be 69,853 ($96,735). Prices include VAT. Click to see more details about the C63 AMG Sedan and the C63 AMG Wagon.
I stumbled upon this while searching for pictures of the C63 in white with the pano roof...anyone have any info if this is true or not? Apparently it was posted back in Sept. '07.

it can't be over 61k base price...
the lexus and Bmw will be severly under cut it.
I hope they don't screw it up.
At this point a sedan M3 with DSG is a great car for the money.
Even a boosted 335 with all the trimmings will have a hard time keeping up on the higher speeds. Around town the torque of the boosted 3 series will be great.. but 7sds and faster shifting will be hard to beat.
Now add the DSG on the 335 and its MONEY!

Well as posted above this is the EURO pricing, most likely for Germany with
19% VAT (but never mind).
The M3 prices have been released at about what? $54k?
In Germany the M3 is close to the C63 with about 66k Euro!!!
That means if MB is not completely stupid the price of the C63
will definitly be under $60k.

no way!
if you think those prices are crazy.... check them out here in australia.
the aus and us dollar aint too far off from each other.. exchange rate.. aprox: $1AU = $0.80US
I know that the entry price for a E63 is $275,000. excluding on road costs.
Were still awaiting the C63 price tag.
I sold my arm, leg and one nut to get my second hand merc. 2001model c-coupe cost me $36,000 only two years ago. thats without on road costs.

C55AMG W203; 330i E90
C63 is priced 'reasonable' for Hong Kong this time.
1 USD = 7.8 HKD
C63 base price , 1.09m incl. tax excludes AMG Performance package (LSD)
M3 E92 base price, 1.38m incl. tax, with a few useless options in the package.
90% M3 orders were cancelled. People I know have ordered the C63.

New IS- F
What do guys think of the 2008 Lexus IS-F? The looks are debatable but the performance is not bad for 56 k ( along with the lexus reliability ) HP is at 417-430 and TQ is in the 370s with an 8 speed automatic....SHould definitely give the new M3 a run for the money, although not in the same league as the C63...

What are the pre-order stats in your areas? Are people jumping at this car, or will we get a chance to see on in a showroom? With prices like that and the car coming out at almost the worst economic time possible, makes me wonder. If I was looking in the 70k range, I'd consider a 997 (its got 4 seats in it right?)

Holy crap. Prices in Europe can vary so much.
For the Lexus IS-F there are huge differences, from 62.500 to 101.600 euro's!

If that C63 had a base price of $53,950 base would people have an easier time accepting some if its shortcomings? Are people angry with the car in general or are they thinking that for 70k you should get a whole lot more?
Thoughts?

2011 E550 4Matic, 2002 M3 Vert
I don't care for the car but there are sub 70k M5s for sale in my area with less than 10k miles. No shortcomings there other than the immensely overweight rear end.
