I'm sure the IS will be fun to drive in its own way, but I can't get past the exterior - I don't think it looks like a high-end piece of machinery. The new C has grown on me, I love the front, but I want to love the rear of it but currently just can't get there... I'll be keeping my C55 for some time

The IS-F tailpipes look weird but as 349bhp says the C63 has a fat saggy **** that would look good waddling out of Hardees in Mississippi. 
When you are in the car it does not matter though, and we have yet to see a back to back comparison with it so it is too early to tell.
It will probably make a great second hand buy though.
Lexus have released prices in the UK and it is the same price more or less as the C63 and M3. Very brave because it does not have the badge. I guessed it would be 10-20% cheaper .....
