Garage Temporarily Empty
That thing is nasty..... 8 speed trans, 416hp, sharp exterior lines like the side front fenders. I think they went about this car the right way, finally.
Maybe the TQ could be a little higher for low end power.
Overall, you can tell they did their homework this time.

i was going to post this but decided maybe no one would care... but i saw the is-f and the C63 in person at the Detroit show and all i can say is that i hope the C63 takes a dive in depreciation so i can afford it! it is beautiful and the is-f didnt compare in my eyes. just my opinion.... but the C63 was awesome! the is-f is going to be a bad ride, but the C63 is just so right on every angle in the looks department. lets not forget its no slacker in performance either. i think the C63 kills the BMW and the Lexus.

I have a feeling that the addition of the IS-F to the market will help resale values among the high performance saloon cars in this class like the M3 and AMG. They will help car shoppers recognize that the C-class AMGs exist - lets just hope MB ironed out the kinks in their previous unreliable record this time around. Having 8 speeds with paddle shifters would probably be a blast to drive-sounds as if it has more of a sequential feel rather than slush box. Lets face it, not having to deal with the service dept at the dealer would be a nice change. There was some footage of road testing recently on Motorweek, and you can hear that V8 roar...

It looks like ****, just like any other Lexus. Whats with the exhaust? Whats with the side front fenders and underbody spoilers on the side, they look as if they were glued on. Sorry but its trying to be something it isnt. Leave it to the big boys to compete in the segment.
I can tell you that every ricer will be all over this heap of metal and I swear if I see anyone in an ISF they will get shut down by me.

IS-F may look weird at first, but eventually the more I look at it the more it grew on me.
I always thought w204 looked weird since the spy pictures. Now I actually think the front end looks GOOD. But the rear never got to me. I still think the tail lights gotta go.
I mean everyone has their own opinions. No one is right or wrong. I always LOVED the C32 and C55. The C63 to me still doesn't seem right. Correct me if I'm wrong but C63 is close to 4000 lbs? If I wanted a heavy car like that I wouldn't choose a sedan that small. Anyway, IS-F is good for its price. Nothing is PERFECT.
