US gas prices and C63 Residuals dont help
Recent hikes in gas prices and the thought of taking a huge hit (depreciation) on the C63 concern me deeply. I really love the car and want to own it, but I am struggling with these two points.
I guess that for the first 18m-24m we wont see too many cars around and certainly minimal if any discounts below MSRP.
The residuals may be punishing as they have been with other AMG cars and while a used vehicle could mitigate some of my concerns, won't see them i suspect till late 2009.
Any of you thinking of holding off?

I am going to hold off since I am concerned with the seats since I founf them very confining when I sat in the CLk 63 black seats which are the same ones as in C63
Although the auto is fast it is still not that fast compared to stronic/DCT plus the mpg could be bad
I will wait for an year then see what 2009 /2010 model changes bring in like MCT etc and then take a long extended test drive to evaluate the car
