I thought the C63 would be far faster than the M3 in a quarter mile drag test.

well.. weird since the c63 even got the jump form a dig.

The man does state it was a trick car to get going without any prior seat time.
I am pretty sure he was unfamiliar with the gearbox and was in manual mode. That led to a mis-shift in which the merc was not able to recover from. Just my guess.

Haven't watched video but C63 will be quicker in the straights and the M3 around the track/twists drivers being equal.

that was the weirdest "comparison" ive seen lately. its almost like they got all 4 cars and just ad libbed their tests after a drag race

One magazine in HK tested 0-100km/h to be 5.46s too.. So yeah, it all depends on the driver when there's no launch mode.. From my test drive experience, it's best to leave it in S mode for drag rather than M mode...

Those 4 men were the most boring and irritating bunch of morons put in vehicle! I really don't like how they try so hard to copy Top Gear and Fifth Gear and they end up sucking at it! They ruined the reputation of all those 4 amazing cars!

The M3 consistently gets ***** slapped by the C63 in straight line speed tests. The guy driving the C63 had no idea what in the hell he was doing.

Funny though in the magazine the quote 0-62 for the C63 as 4.4 and the M3 as 4.9

Ok, this video is totally fake! I watched it over and over and it seems as though the race was edited to make it look like the M3 is faster.

The M3 did get a better launch, but the C63 was gaining pretty fast between minute 3:21 and 3:24. almost closed the whole gap and it seemed like it was gaining more on it, by then the Lexus had already fallen behind the 2 cars at 3:24. Now, all of a sudden, M3 starts gaining on the C63 at minute 3:27. that doesn't make sense. to top it off, the final shot shows M3 first, lexus second and C63 third!! How did that happen when it clearly shows the lexus falling behind at minute 3:24. hahaha.. this video is a total rip off, heavily edited. Wonder how much BMW payed these folks. Nice try!

The C63 blew by the Lexus at 3:24 like it was standing still yet they show the Lexus beating it across the line.

OMG, you're totally right LOL!! And the M3 did jumped off the line first and kept the lead to the end, but yet at 3:25 it showed the C63 was actually ahead of the M3 as well... Heavy PLUS BAAAAAAD editing LOL

PLUS, check out the recap at 3:46, the C63 was pulling away fast from the M3.. Man.. Don't think I'll ever believe anything from these guys again...

I have watched it several times now and every time they switch camera angles they show a different gap in the cars. It is very funny that they could screw up the editing that bad.

Here in the US.. all test have been consistent.

M3 slower to 1/4 by 2 to 3 mph (trap speed)

and ETA by .2 to .4 seconds.

0-60 I could care less (but it runs 4.1 or so)

to 100 its faster.

around the Track. the M3 is superior.

Braking: The C63 has been tested to outperform.

M3 with dual clutch probably will match the C63 in straight line performance.

What is also scary.. the IS-F can beat the M3 ins straight line and tie the C63 for trap speed. At least on one head to head comparison (Motor Trend)

Hahaha, yup. it shows the C63 pulling while they are supposedly discussing the race chain of fake events. no where in the actual race do they show the C63 ahead, the M3 took a small lead on launch and whoever was editing the race made sure to keep the M3 ahead at all times. whoever it is, did a great job!. Until the recap discussion, someone in the editing room must've screwed up . the recap tells some truth by showing the C63 at minute 3:47 pulling away and pulling away strong!

This is unbelievable! Talking about the low levels a bias magazine is willing to go!

Only input I have is that the idiot was hand shifting the AMG.

We have proven (over on our forum) time and time again that noone can outshift the factory AMG programming in auto in the 1/4 mile.

Guy should have let the car do the work.
