09' C63 AMG (Gisele)
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Can we get a freaking tailor in here or what??? What exactly is next..? Bra size? what lotion is good on skin? Or how much hills hurt your feet while you walk?
Can we get back to talking about the car again..? I mean the idea of all you fine looking gentlemen with man ***** is nice and all.. but the more information we could get on the C63.. the less we would have to worry about our physique!

Wrong. These are the only seats I have had a problem with. I fit fine in the GT-R seats. I have one coming in June that I am now going to keep. I was considering going with a C63 instead but the seats have made it a simple decision for me.

I agree with RDK , It is not about weight and size , depending on how your physique is even a fit person 6 feet 178 Lbs guy can feel very tight in those seats
Only way to figure out is to sit in them and see how they feel against your physique

**** I'm 5-9 245 right now but I'm a competive bodybuilder so my shoulder waist ratio is way out of wack. I hope the shoulder area isn't too tight, as I take delivery in June. That would SUCK

I'm surprised at some of the replies here. Not every guy is a jockey-sized driver that can fit into an Indy Car. If the seats are narrow because of the bolstering, it could be a problem for people fat/broad/thick/muscular/etc. Being tall, I'm always concerned with the legroom and if my knees are going to be hitting the dash, and if the seat goes back far enough.
I guess we all just need to try one on for size...

well, what you can do....
...not trying to be a spoiled so-cal brat, but here, there is a clk black series at almost every dealer, and most will let you sit in them. the seats appear the same, so i imagine the fit is the same. kinda takes the guess work on whether you fit or not.

I walked away from the car I ordered because of the seats
I went down to test drive and purchase the Black/Black C63 I ordered. I decided not to buy it because of the seats. They are very uncomfortable and would not work as a daily driver for me. The way they are designed the outside edges of the leather will be very worn in no time and forget about having your blackberry on your belt unless you want to feel like you have a knife in your side. I am 6'2" weigh 205 have a 34" waist and my coat size is a 44 long. The general sales manager came out and tried them as well. He couldn't fit comfortably in the seats either. He went back in to call Mercedes to list a complaint. I otherwise loved the car and was very disappointed after waiting for so long.

I have to agree with you guys about the seats. I just came back from sitting in black C63 and they felt comfortable, yet tight. I'm only 5'10 175 lbs with a 32 waist, but can easily see how larger indivduals would have a tough time being comfortable.

I have sat in Porsche 997 sport seats, they are comfy and supportive but since they are designed for raod and track use they are comfortable for daily use
The C63 seats are more supportive around bends etc but are more confining

I'm 6'1", 215lbs, 48" chest and 34-35" waist. Contrary to what your wife is telling you, we are not "ideal" my friend. I'm at least 20lbs north of the suburbs surrounding "ideal". I've not sat in the c63 seats so I really have nothing else to contribute to this.

20+ to list......
Seats are perfect!! I love mine. Folks, please refer to my other thread on the seats review, there are 3 buttons on each seat to adjust how tight you want the supports to be. Here's a picture of the button's location on the passenger seat:

Track seats in a 4 door sedan makes a lot of sense
I can easily understand putting these seats in a BS CLK63 but a 4 door sedan for an every day driver, give me a break. Think I will go buy something else and when Mercedes offers another seat option in 09, and I'm sure they will, I'll buy a c63. Meanwhile you folks that can fit in them, enjoy them.

Holy s**t
I just got back from test driving a C63 and a SLK55. I'm probably going to get an SLK55. I assumed that you guys complaining about the seats were fatties or wusses (pardon my honesty). I'm wrong. I'm very wrong.
I'm 5'10" and I weigh 158 pounds. I felt snug in the seats and wasn't quite comfortable. I definitely opened the seats up to max width. Also because I'm a smaller guy I actually recede into the seat and my upper arms are forced a little farther forward than is comfortable. I just can't do this as a daily driver.
I didn't think I would be posting this. In fact, I expected to just completely disregard the seats and focus on the drive.
To change topic, the suspension is fine. I have a SLK 350 with the AMG sports suspension upgrade. It's about the same. I would be completely comfortable driving the C63 around in terms of ride quality. I ran the car up into the 80s on a long off ramp sweeper and the joists between road pieces didn't upset the car at all.
Good luck to all. The exhaust note is nothing shy of phenomenal. It really made me smile.

Dude at 158 you must either be a toothpick or like eating a toothbrush. Why are skinny people replying to this thread at all. Sure you can fit your boneylittle a$$es in the seats we get that move on.

Just drove our dealers C63 yesterday, I'm 6'5 225 and the seats were snug, but were not uncomfortable at all. One thing i can say is that no one will be riding behind me if i get it.
