UK Test Drive
Just test drove the C63 and was impressed first impressions;
1. 19" wheels still look a bit small in my opinion
2. The exhaust note when you start the car sounds very similar to a bark of a rottwiler (lol) Love it!
3. The sat nav software is impressive no need to manually input just speak far superior to my BMW software.
3. Seats are very supportive but would have like the width adjustment on the doors instead.
4. Very very impressed with the performance, from standstill and especially mid range. Its so addicitive to hear the exhaust note.
5. Did not actually hear the auto blip too well, was under the impression it would similar to the BMW M3 CSL.
6. Town driving was fine, light steering.
7. Did I meantion the Sound WOW!
8. I thought the ride was fine and suited to the UK roads.
Cant wait till I receive mine, I have a small video and some pics which I would like to post any help would be appreciated.

do you know what mode you had it in, did you try it in sport or manual, you had mentioned the "blip" of the throttle, I believe you have it in either of those modes?

I tried the car in all three modes;
1. Comfort- Ideal to drive around town but hesitant to downchange actually caught the car out one time when I wanted to floor it and it hesitated then went similar to a turbo. Perhaps it was my driving style which confused it as I was trying different things with the car.
2. Sport - My fav setting holds the gears for longer, thought this would auto blip but did not hear it on the downchange.
3. Manual - Good for driving it like you want to, heard the blip on this mode however felt the gearchanges were slightly slow in comparison to a Manual with a paddle shift but impressive for an auto.

The blipping on occurs when you are in a lower gear , works in C or S , Thats me just done 950miles, as I was advised by salesman to run it inn? First time I have ever run in a car
Went to Edinburgh today & cruised about the exhaust note is silimar to a Ford Mustang , brilliant sound. Even on my way home sitting at about 80mph , I gave it a poke & the exhaust jut burbled. On the mpg , currently been getting between 21mpg & 24mpg sitting at about 80mph.
I would dvise all owners of C63 to keep an eye on the engine oil level as mine has came down the stick, I hope it behaves it self now.
